Land acquisition by KIADB : Owners who part with parcels will get 45% developed land
"The scheme, in place since 2007, involved sharing of 40 per cent developed land with farmers. But there weren't many takers for this model. Seeking an enhancement in land compensation, many even approached courts. To weed out these legal issues, we decided to make the offer a little more attractive by increasing the share," said KIADB chief executive officer N Shivashankar.
