As service has been suspended between March 22, 2020 and September 6,2020 during the first wave of Covid-19, yet again service had been shut for around 50 days due to the lockdown during the second wave. To all this, corporation has suffered a loss of Rs.170 Crore. To stabilise this BMRCL is considering commercial development near metro stations and selling premium FAR. (Floor Area Ratio)
