1. Bidadi Smart City Project : The Greater Bengaluru-Bidadi Smart City Planning Authority has plans to develop over 38 villages in and around Bidadi. This smart city will be developed under the concept of work, live and play. Similar to Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh, BMRDA has plans to pool land and develop Bidadi.
2. Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway By September 2022, the 10-lane Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway is expected to be completed. Once the operation takes off, this expressway will reduce the current 3 hour journey to Mysuru to be less than 90 minutes! And Bidadi will be a major benefited area. This project in fact increases demand for real estate.
3. Namma Metro Expansion The future of Bidadi looks bright as it’s one of the key localities that has been identified by BMRCL and DULT to be included under the Phase 3 expansion of Namma metro.
4. Suburban Railways Project Bidadi is likely to benefit from the suburban railways project, as the state government is adding 165kms of suburban railway network to the 149 km project already approved by the centre. By this, the state government wants to expand the suburban railways network through existing tracks to nearby satellite areas.
