Pandemic, lockdown delay BMTC's e-bus plan
In February BMTC had awarded a work order to NTPC-JBM, a joint venture, to provide 90 non-AC e-buses under Bengaluru Smart City project. The plan was to deploy them from June in phases. But now the deadline is likely to be pushed to August 2021
